Mortal Kombat PS Vita set for May 1st release

Mortal Kombat (2011) has been set to be released on May 1st for the Playstation Vita.  The game will available in Europe on May 4th.  Mortal Kombat on PS Vita will include all of content available so for on the console version plus it will have new features and DLC.

Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition available now

The wait for the ultimate Mortal Kombat experience is over as Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition is available now for PS3 and Xbox 360.

Mortal Kombat (2011) has won several fighting game of the year awards and will be repackaged to include all of the character and costume DLC so far.  The game will also include the official soundtrack and a digital copy of the first Mortal Kombat film.  If you’ve held of buying the game due to the DLC, here is your chance to grab the game at a low price.

Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition announced

Mortal Kombat took the fighting game community by storm in 2011 by winning countless awards for best fighting game and beating out both of Capcom’s fighters.  Mortal Kombat (2011) is getting released in new packaging with all of the character and costume DLC included.  As a bonus, the game will also feature the official soundtrack (Mortal Kombat: Songs Inspired by the Warriors) and a token to download the 1995 Mortal Kombat film via Playstation Store or Xbox Live Zune.  A full list of additional content can be seen below.

Mortal Kombat (2011) wins Fighting Game of the Year at VGAs

Mortal Kombat (2011) has won the Fighting Game of the Year award at the 2011 VGAs.  Mortal Kombat beat out WWE All-Stars, Marval vs Capcom 3, and The King of Fighters XIII to capture the title at one of the biggest stages for video games.  2011 has definitely been the year for Mortal Kombat as the game has captured many awards and garnered praise from fans and critics.

Mortal Kombat (2011) nominated for Best Fighting Game at 2011 Spike VGAs

Mortal Kombat (2011) has been nominated for Best Fighting Game of the Year at the annual Spike Videogame Awards.  Show your support and cast your vote for Mortal Kombat.  Mortal Kombat is also nominated for Best DLC with Freddy Kruger.

The Spike Videogame Awards will air on SpikeTV on December 10th, 2011.  The Spike VGAs are known to have surprises in store for fans so be sure to tune in.  Last year saw the announcement of Kratos being a playable character in the PS3 version of Mortal Kombat.
